Terms of service

PageGenie is operated by One T Media Group. Use an account you control, protect its credentials, and provide accurate billing and registration information. Account holders must be at least 18 or the age of majority where they live and authorised to act for their business. You agree to these Terms and our Content Policy before publishing or purchasing.

Your content and AI

You keep your rights to content you supply and give us permission to process, store and display it to provide the service. Upload only material you own or have permission to use, including logos, photos and personal information. AI output may be inaccurate, similar to other output, or unsuitable; you must review it before use. We do not guarantee originality, trademark clearance, search ranking, sales, uninterrupted service or legal compliance of your website. Generated imagery illustrates a concept and must not be misrepresented as your actual premises or work.

Publishing and enforcement

Drafts are private to your account. A published preview is accessible to anyone with its link; exclusion from search is not access control. We may block generation, refuse publishing, suspend a site or account, or remove unlawful or prohibited content. We consider context and appeals and may act immediately where needed to protect others. Serious or repeated abuse may end access. Do not evade restrictions or misuse service allowances.

Service and disputes

Features and limits depend on your plan. You are responsible for checking your site's accuracy and keeping backups. Contact support to resolve problems. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Material policy changes will be announced and may require renewed acceptance. Contact support@pagegenie.ca with questions.

Content & acceptable use

Build something useful and respectful. These rules apply to prompts, generated output, text edits, uploads, logos, links, embeds and published sites.

Good-faith education, news and discussion are considered in context. Automated checks may make mistakes; a blocked request can be appealed to support@pagegenie.ca. Do not resubmit prohibited material to evade a block.

How we enforce

We use automated text and image safety checks before generation and publishing, including edited content, and review reports. A failed or unavailable check may pause publishing. No automated system catches every violation. External video streams and linked pages can change after publication; customers remain responsible for them and we may remove unsafe embeds or sites. We do not continuously monitor all external streams.

Report and appeal

Use “Report this website” on a PageGenie preview or email support@pagegenie.ca with the URL and a brief explanation. Avoid sending unlawful imagery or sensitive personal information. Reports are not public. We review context and may restrict a site while investigating. To appeal, send the site URL, account email and reasons. Reports alone do not automatically remove a site. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services.

Privacy policy

One T Media Group is responsible for PageGenie's handling of personal information. Contact support@pagegenie.ca for privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests.

Bot protection

We use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Firebase App Check to help prevent automated abuse. Google processes browser and device signals for this security check. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Operational alerts contain service names and incident references, not your website content or passwords. Alert records are scheduled for removal after 30 days.

What we collect and why

We use your account email, authentication records, business details, drafts, prompts, images, logos, project history and publishing settings to provide and secure PageGenie. Billing records and domain registrant details support purchases and registration. Reports and moderation decisions support abuse prevention and appeals. Basic website analytics count views and enquiry-link clicks; a hash derived from an IP address, date and site is used to limit duplicate events. Do not supply sensitive personal information in AI prompts or public business fields.

Service providers

Firebase/Google provides authentication, storage, functions and hosting. OpenAI processes content for generation and safety checks. Stripe processes payments; PageGenie does not store full card details. Cloudflare supports domains and DNS; registrant details are shared as required for registration. Resend delivers account emails. Information may be processed outside Canada and subject to the laws of those locations. Canadian branding does not mean all data stays in Canada.

Public and private information

Your published website makes its content and chosen business contact details public. Drafts and account data are not intentionally public. Preview URLs can be shared and are not passwords. We use local browser storage to restore drafts and account sessions; shared devices need care. Embedded YouTube or Twitch content may connect visitors to those providers under their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and your choices

We retain active account/project data to provide the service. You can edit saved information and unpublish sites. In Account → Your privacy & data, verified account holders can request a data copy or account deletion. You can also request access, correction or deletion by email; we verify identity first. Deletion requests involving billing or domains require support review before removal. For eligible accounts, you can schedule deletion in Account: published websites become unavailable immediately, and you have 30 days to recover your account before permanent removal begins. Once removal begins, recovery is unavailable. We do not automatically cancel subscriptions, surrender domains or erase unresolved payment or ownership records. Some billing, security, dispute and registration records may need to remain for legal obligations or legitimate dispute handling. Removed content may remain in restricted daily database backups until those backups expire, currently within seven additional days. Restores must honour completed deletion requests. Minimal deletion records and restricted security or dispute records may remain for their documented purpose; contact support for a reviewed access or deletion request covering those records. We protect information with access controls and restricted server credentials, but no system offers absolute security. We assess suspected breaches and make notifications where required. Additional uses require appropriate notice and consent.

Billing, cancellation & domains

Launch prices are in Canadian dollars: Starter $9/month, Complete $19/month, and Own Your HTML $49 once, each for one website. Applicable taxes and the total must be shown at checkout. Recurring plans renew until cancelled. Cancel through Plans & billing / Manage subscription or contact support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the checkout or applicable law requires otherwise.

Refunds

Contact support@pagegenie.ca for duplicate charges, service failures or other refund requests. Requests are reviewed based on the circumstances and mandatory consumer rights. We do not promise an automatic refund for completed AI work or delivered downloads. A cancelled subscription does not automatically refund earlier payments. Before live payments launch, final checkout disclosures and refund handling must be reviewed.

Domain purchases

The domain price is the registrar cost plus a clearly shown $2 CAD PageGenie service fee and applicable taxes. Registration is in the customer's supplied name, subject to registry eligibility and terms. Availability is not guaranteed until registration completes. A failed registration after payment requires resolution or refund of the unsuccessful order. Registered domains may be non-refundable under registrar/registry rules, without limiting statutory rights. Renewal prices can differ; renewal settings and fees must be disclosed separately. Domain purchase alone does not include a website plan. Transfer and ownership information must remain available to the registrant.

Current payment stage

PageGenie currently uses Stripe test checkout and sandbox domain registration. These transactions do not charge real money or register real domains.

Report a concern

Email support@pagegenie.ca with the website URL, reason and relevant context. For previews, the “Report this website” button also saves a report directly to our private queue. Do not attach unlawful imagery. For an appeal, include the URL, account email and the reason you believe the decision should change.
